Leading logistics provider Centurion is pleased to announce that it has secured a three year contract extension to provide integrated logistics services for CITIC Pacific Mining’s (CPM) Sino Iron project in the Pilbara region of WA.
Centurion has been providing integrated logistics services to CPM for more than eight years, including line haul, regional transport services, and offsite receipting.
Sino Iron Project is located at Cape Preston in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Centurion has been operating in the Pilbara region for decades, possessing comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the area and its unique logistics requirements.
Centurion CEO Justin Cardaci said he was pleased the excellent working relationship with CITIC had been extended for a further three years.
“The extension of this contract is a great validation of the current quality and efficiency of Centurion’s integrated logistics offering. We have developed a strong relationship with CITIC over the past eight years and this extension is a tribute to the importance of establishing long term relationships with customers,” Mr Cardaci said.
CITIC’s support enables Centurion to continue its economic contribution to the Karratha region, in addition to building and sustaining long term community partnerships. Over the last three years, the CFC Group has contributed, directly and indirectly, to more than $800 million in spending in the WA community.
“The renewal of the CITIC contract is of strategic importance as it reaffirms Centurion’s position as a leading provider of logistics services to the resources industry across the west coast of Australia. Our client operations are supported by a fleet of more 2000 owned assets and a network of regional branches offering receipting and last mile logistic services,” Mr Cardaci said.
