Justin Cardaci – Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Justin’s role spans all areas of the Centurion business. His focus is to actively seek and grow opportunities whilst continuing to strengthen the organisation’s commercial performance.
Justin started his career at Centurion as the Operations and Linehaul Manager before looking outside the organisation to further his industry experience.
In 2007 Justin was appointed Managing Director for Guardian Marine where his responsibilities included providing port services to the largest tonnage port in Australia in addition to facilitating off-shore express services.
In 2009 Justin was appointed as the CEO of the Go Marine Group, Australia’s largest integrated marine oil and gas logistics provider, as part of a merger with Guardian Marine. This extended Justin’s project logistics knowledge for specialised services and offered exposure to national and South-East Asian markets.
Chris McCluskey – Chief Financial Officer
In July 2020 Chris joined the Centurion Team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chris has over 18 years’ experience in finance related roles most recently as the GM Finance & Commercial within the Transport industry.
Chris spent the early part of his career within the professional services industry with time at KPMG and Deloitte in various audit & corporate advisory roles. This background has developed Chris’s strong technical grounding and a natural detail focus, he brings an emphasis on strong internal controls, reporting expediency and timeliness.
At Centurion Chris is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management operations of the business. Chris is also responsible for the development of a financial strategy, metrics tied to the strategy and the ongoing control & development of systems to report financial results.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Craig Blyton – Executive General Manager – Business Development
Craig joined the Centurion team in September 2020 as the Executive General Manager – Service Delivery (Mining). In April 2021, Craig was appointed Executive General Manager of Business Development.
Craig has spent the past 25 years in the Transport sector, primarily providing services and solutions to the Mining sector across multiple geographies.
Craig has held various roles in this period involving operations, business development and client solutions. Most recently Craig has held senior roles that are client facing and has a proven track record in developing partnerships with key client stakeholders.
At Centurion Craig is responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our key Mining clients, working closely with our Operational Teams to ensure consistent high quality, safe, and reliable outcomes for our customers.
Mike Elmer – Executive General Manager – Operations East
Mike joined the Centurion Team in July 2020 as the Executive General Manager Operations East, he brings a wealth of transport and logistics experience with over 30 years in the industry.
Prior to joining Centurion Mike spent 17 years with Toll Group as their Executive General Manager – Mining Services. Mike has worked across Australia, South America, West Africa and Asia, providing innovative solutions both as an internal and external provider.
At Centurion, Mike is responsible for providing direction and leadership for all transport operations across the Queensland business focusing on safety, service delivery and profitability. His position facilitates the delivery of the organisations goals, financial performance, cultural enhancement & overall growth of the Centurion East Operations.
Steven Bray – Executive General Manager – Operations West
Steve joined Centurion in 2018 following Centurion’s acquisition of Triton Transport. Since then, Steve has worked across the business in Western Australia, as both General Manager Business Development and General Manager Service Delivery in recent years. In October 2021, Steve was appointed Executive General Manager – Operations West.
Steve has over 19 years’ experience in transport and logistics, with extensive experience across business development, contracts and regional operations. Steve’s experience across these areas brings proven success providing service and solutions across the retail, mining, oil & gas, and utilities industries, managing complex distribution networks.
Steve’s operational experience spans across general freight, refrigerated freight and heavy haulage transport, coupled with expansive cold store and general warehousing expertise.
As the Executive General Manager – Operations West, Steve is responsible for providing direction and leadership across all transport operations across Western Australia, focusing on safety, service delivery and profitability. His position facilitates the delivery of the organisations goals, financial performance, cultural enhancement & overall growth of the Centurion West Operations.
Phil Scott – Executive General Manager – People and Culture
Phil joined Centurion as the EGM of People & Culture in January 2021, having previously worked within the CFC Group at CAPE as head of HR & Safety, and a key member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
With over 15 years of Human Resources, Business and Management experience, Phil brings with him proven success in a number of senior positions with a demonstrated capability in driving organisational change, building high performing teams and executing strategic plans.
Phil’s diverse and extensive experience includes working within the Transport and Logistics industry for several years, where he worked across all areas of Human Resource Management, Compliance, Training & Safety.
As the EGM of People & Culture, Phil will manage the HR, HSEQ, Training and Indigenous Affairs teams, and lead the delivery of best practice solutions that empower our employees and leaders to deliver on organisational objectives.
Adam Sarris – Chief Information Officer
Adam joined Centurion as Chief Information Officer in August 2021. He is a business and technology professional with more than 17 years’ experience in both commercial and technical roles across a diverse range of organisational settings and industries.
Having worked on numerous digital transformation projects in finance and telecommunications, Adam co-founded a software firm in 2010 that continues to service businesses and government clients throughout Australia with the delivery of technology solutions.
Operating as a conduit between the business and technology teams, Adam has a collaborative approach, proactively engaging with stakeholders to identify opportunities and manage transformative change. His experience working both internally as part of the business and as a vendor to clients gives Adam a unique perspective and ability to implement change and deliver outcomes.
At Centurion, Adam is responsible for the development and management of innovative technologies to support growth and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Scott Tierney – Executive General Manager – Account Management
Scott joined the Centurion team in January 2022 as Executive General Manager – Account Management.
Scott has spent the past 18 years in the transport sector working across finance, commercial, operations and sales, assisting various industries ranging from FMCG to mining with their supply chain solutions. Most recently, Scott has held senior client facing roles with a focus on understanding customers’ needs in order to develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
At Centurion, Scott is responsible for understanding our customer needs and tailoring solutions to drive unrivalled synergies through their supply chains.
