Justin Cardaci – Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Justin’s role spans all areas of the Centurion business. His focus is to actively seek and grow opportunities whilst continuing to strengthen the organisation’s commercial performance.
Justin started his career at Centurion as the Operations and Linehaul Manager before looking outside the organisation to further his industry experience.
In 2007 Justin was appointed Managing Director for Guardian Marine where his responsibilities included providing port services to the largest tonnage port in Australia in addition to facilitating off-shore express services.
In 2009 Justin was appointed as the CEO of the Go Marine Group, Australia’s largest integrated marine oil and gas logistics provider, as part of a merger with Guardian Marine. This extended Justin’s project logistics knowledge for specialised services and offered exposure to national and South-East Asian markets.
Max Bergomi – Head of Strategy and Development
Max began his professional career as an engineer with Italian EPC contractor Saipem. He has over twenty years of engineering, construction, and maintenance experience, and has built a strong reputation for onshore & topside service excellence over the last decade.
From late 2015 to 2018 Max was the Managing Director/CEO of Tempo, a mining and oil & gas service company. Prior to this, was the Managing Director for Clough for the Australian and PNG regions. He brings significant leadership experience and established working relationships with many blue chip clients and tier one contractors.
As Head of Strategy and Development, Max leads business development, tendering, commercial and marketing functions for the wider Centurion business in addition to in his role as CEO for the newly-established Centurion Upstream Solutions business.
Paul Doherty – Head of People & Culture
As the Head of People & Culture, Paul provides leadership to the Human Resources, HSEQ, Training and Indigenous Affairs teams.
Paul joined the Centurion Team in February 2016 and is responsible for the human capital management strategy, including talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations that support the company’s continued growth, innovation and profitability.
Paul is an experienced HR Executive with more than 15 years’ experience in senior human resources roles across various industries from Transport to Fuel Distribution and Civil Construction. He brings a wealth of experience and a demonstrated ability to build leadership capability and culture driven strategies that enhance staff engagement and retention.
Mike Elmer – Executive General Manager Operations East
Mike joined the Centurion Team in July 2020 as the Executive General Manager Operations East, he brings a wealth of Transport and Logistics experience with over 30 years in the industry.
Prior to joining Centurion Mike spent 17 years with Toll Group as their Executive GM Mining Services.
At Centurion Mike is be responsible for providing direction and leadership for all transport operations across the Queensland business focusing on safety, service delivery and profitability. His position facilitates the delivery of the organisations goals, financial performance, cultural enhancement & overall growth of the Centurion East Operations.
Chris McCluskey – Chief Financial Officer
In July 2020 Chris joined the Centurion Team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chris has over 18 years’ experience in finance related roles most recently as the GM Finance & Commercial within the Transport industry.
Chris spent the early part of his career within the professional services industry with time at KPMG and Deloitte in various audit & corporate advisory roles. This background has developed Chris’s strong technical grounding and a natural detail focus, he brings an emphasis on strong internal controls, reporting expediency and timeliness.
At Centurion Chris is accountable for the financial, administrative and risk management operations of the business. Chris is also responsible for the development of a financial strategy, metrics tied to the strategy and the ongoing control & development of systems to report financial results.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Garry Riordan – Executive General Manager Operations West
Garry has more than 25 years’ experience and demonstrated success in leading large scale operations across Australia in a wide range of transport services, storage, distribution and mining services.
Garry has extensive experience in Operations Management, Maintenance Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Development.
In February 2019 Garry joined the business as Executive General Manager Operations East, he has been integral in implementing the Centurion “ways of working” on the East Coast whilst expanding the service offering in line with the company’s strategic direction.
In July 2020 Garry was appointed Executive General Manager Operations West, he is responsible for providing direction and leadership for all transport, warehousing and regional networks in WA and the Northern Territory.
Craig Blyton – Executive General Manager – Service Delivery (Mining)
Craig joined the Centurion team in September 2020 as the Executive General Manager – Service Delivery (Mining).
Craig has spent the past 25 years in the Transport sector, primarily providing services and solutions to the Mining sector across multiple geographies.
Craig has held various roles in this period involving operations, business development and client solutions. Most recently Craig has held senior roles that are client facing and has a proven track record in developing partnerships with key client stakeholders.
At Centurion Craig is responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our key Mining clients, working closely with our Operational Teams to ensure consistent high quality, safe, and reliable outcomes for our customers.
