Established in 2015, Centurion’s Frank Cardaci Training Program is dedicated to providing life-changing job opportunities for disadvantaged youth, emphasising diversity.
Aligned with entry-level roles, the program focuses on empowering trainees in roles like Freight Officers and Reception. It operates through a tri-party arrangement involving the Employer/Trainee, Apprenticeship Support Network, and Training Organisation, prioritising hands-on experiences and support.
Training and Qualification: Trainees work towards a Certificate III in Business or Supply Chain Operations from South Metropolitan TAFE, emphasising practical learning experiences and industry-relevant knowledge.
Support Structure: The program offers robust support, including face-to-face meetings, daily interactions with supervisors, and mentorship. Regular training sessions on cultural awareness and mental health create an inclusive environment.
Learning and Development: The program combines on-the-job experiences with structured TAFE training, allowing trainees to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. Assessments are tailored to individual learning styles, promoting active engagement.
Career Development and Financial Literacy: Trainees receive support in setting and achieving career goals through monthly discussions. Financial literacy workshops equip them with essential budgeting and financial goal-setting skills for long-term independence.
The Frank Cardaci Training Program showcases Centurion’s commitment to empowering youth in the transport and logistics industry. With nationally recognised qualifications, it serves as a platform for career advancement, reflecting Centurion’s dedication to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
