The Frank Cardaci Traineeship Program exemplifies Centurion’s commitment to providing life-changing job opportunities for young people who have faced barriers to employment.
Established over a decade ago in 2015, this program fosters talent in the transport and logistics industry while promoting diversity and inclusion.
Training and Qualification
Trainees work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. This qualification is achieved through a blend of on-the-job learning and structured TAFE sessions, ensuring practical skill development aligned with industry requirements. The program follows the 70:20:10 learning model, combining hands-on experience with formal training and mentorship.
To ensure a well-rounded learning experience, trainees receive comprehensive support, including:
- Monthly mentor meetings to track progress and provide guidance.
- Daily interactions with supervisors for continuous development.
- Training in cultural awareness, mental health, and first aid to foster a safe and inclusive workplace.
Learning and Development
Centurion’s Learning and Development team enhances the traineeship experience by offering:
- Financial literacy workshops covering budgeting and goal setting.
- Team-building sessions to develop communication and collaboration skills.
- Community engagement opportunities to encourage social responsibility.
Upon successful completion of the traineeship, participants are encouraged to remain with Centurion in their current roles or transition into other career opportunities within the organisation. The program serves as a springboard for long-term career advancement, providing a strong foundation for future growth.
